Bergen Health & Life Gift Guide Giveaway: Official Rules and Regulations
1. Eligibility: No purchase required. All applicable federal, state and
local laws and regulations apply. Void where prohibited by law. Open to
Bergen County residents 18 years of age or older as of the date of this
entry. Employees of Wainscot Media (including Bergen Health & Life
magazine), as well as their immediate families, are not eligible to
enter or win any prize(s). This contest is being held from November 18,
2009 to December 15, 2009. All entries must be received during the
contest period. Only one entry allowed per person during the contest
period.
2. To Enter:
Complete the entry form at www.bergenhealthandlife.com. Your entry must
be received no later than December 15, 2009. No correspondence will be
answered. Bergen Health & Life will not be responsible for lost,
late, misdirected, incomplete, incorrect or otherwise undeliverable
entries.
3. Prizes:
On or about December 16, 2009, a random drawing from all eligible
entries will be conducted. All decisions are final. Each winner will
receive one (1) of the items featured in the Holiday Gift Guide of
Bergen Health & Life’s Holiday 2009 issue. Odds of winning depend
on the number of eligible entries received. Winner will be notified by
phone, mail or e-mail. Prize(s) must be claimed no later than January
15, 2010. Prizes not claimed within such time will be given to an
alternate winner. Prize(s) are not transferable and may not be given,
bartered or sold. There are no cash prizes or prize substitutes.
Winners are responsible for all local, state and federal income taxes
associated with winning the prize(s).
4. Limitations of Liability: Entrants agree to be bound by these rules
and that the decision regarding the winner is final. Entrants agree to
release, discharge and save harmless Wainscot Media, its officers,
directors, employees, subsidiaries and affiliates from and against any
and all injuries, liability, losses and damages of any kind resulting
from entrants’ participation in this contest and/or entrants’
acceptance, use, misuse or possession of any prize, or lost or
misdirected prizes.
5. General: Winners’ entry and acceptance of the prize(s) constitutes
permission for Wainscot Media and any affiliates to use their name,
photograph and likeness for any purpose of advertising and promotion
without further compensation. Wainscot Media and its officers,
directors, employees, affiliates and subsidiaries are not responsible
for any technical malfunction of any telephone or network lines,
computers, servers, providers or software; any e-mail transmission
failure; or entrants’ inability to enter the sweepstakes due to any
